Starting in early 2022, Soorfinc aims to enrich the surfing community by offering a influential benefit for them. Soorfinc is an app for you to connect with surfers nearby to share experiences, learn about new surf spots, and the opportunity to forge friendships with fellow enthusiasts who share their deep passion for riding the waves.

Challenge

Pioneering in this industry, particularly with an app tailored for surfers in Indonesia, presents a formidable challenge. It involves extensive contemplation, engaging in discussions with surfing coaches and enthusiasts—a vital part of our journey. Our objective is to create an app that not only benefits the surfing community but also contributes to the growth of tourism in Indonesia through this application.

Our Solution

We take a thoughtful approach to the UI/UX process, emphasizing a thorough and phased design approach within Soorfinc.

We systematically exercise and test each feature to ensure that our app effectively addresses current needs, particularly highlighting Soorfinc's premier services, including discovering new surf spots, connecting with fellow surfers, and booking surfing lessons with experienced coaches.

Designer’s Words

This is my first project focused on surfing, where I’ve gained insights into how surfing works for both users and surf coaches. I also worked with the branding team to refine the style guidelines for the app. My aim is for this application to be beneficial, as there's a strong demand for digital tools in the surfing community. My team and I are dedicated to crafting the optimal experience for surfers and coaches using the Soorfinc app.
