The Client
Casion stands as a prominent electric vehicle charging service provider in Indonesia, offering comprehensive station deployment, management, and maintenance. The company ensures end-to-end services for both landlords and end users.
Challenge
In a case study of electric vehicle charging product design, our task is to find out more about what is usually required when charging an electric vehicle. Because there must be a difference with filling ordinary vehicles that use gasoline. All of this is intended so that users can enjoy services on the Casion application easily and comfortably.
Our Solution
We wanted to present Casion to EV owners in Indonesia as a simple and accessible facility as an electric vehicle battery charging and swap station.
Moreover, we didn’t only developed the best experience for the user side but also the most effective strategy for the business side, so that Casion may become even greater than it is today.
Designer’s Words
The Casion project is quite engaging. While I built upon the UI style my friend developed, I had the opportunity to brainstorm and design compelling visual elements, all while adhering to Casion's brand guidelines. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into mobile charging mechanisms and payment processes. Designing a UI widget for a smartwatch was a new experience for me, adding an extra layer of coolness and accessibility to the application.
